Library of Shadows: Halloween Bash Fundraiser

As twilight settles over Jersey City, the Jersey City Free Public Library Foundation transforms the library into an extraordinary after-hours sanctuary for Library of Shadows: A Halloween Bash Fundraiser.

On Friday, October 30, 2026, from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM, guests aged 21 and older are invited to step beyond the quiet reading rooms and into a hauntingly elevated celebration. The evening brings the stacks to life with a live DJ, dynamic entertainment, and an immersive photo booth to capture every shadow and silhouette. Guests can sip specialty themed drinks, enjoy gourmet hors d'oeuvres, and showcase their creativity in a costume contest.

More than a Halloween celebration, this gathering directly supports the Jersey City Free Public Library Foundation's ongoing mission and community initiatives.
